Richards Survives GH Ouster

In other GH news, Robyn Richards will end her 12-year run as Maxie Jones when Days alum Kirsten Storms takes over the role in May. "Robyn took the news of being let go better than a lot of the people around her," says her manager, Michael Bruno. Wasting no time in setting up an exit strategy, Richards returned to the audition circuit. "We had heard that GH's executive producer Jill Farren-Phelps was meeting with Kirsten, so we immediately started looking into prime-time and film opportunities, and we wouldn't rule out another soap," Bruno says. "We're sure there's one soap [executive] smart enough out there to know that Robyn would be great for their show."
